Too many to remember and then to list!
I've been a teacher at Groesbeck Middle School since 2008. I've taught 8th grade History, 7th grade English Language Arts, Gifted and Talented, and Yearbook/Drama during those years. In 2016 I began teaching Technology.
I taught for 15 years in the Conroe school district prior to moving to Groesbeck. In those years I taught 12th grade English, 11th grade history, Yearbook, BCIS, and created a course of C.A.T.C.H. (Credits Aquired Through Computer Help) designed to help students who were behind in credits to 'catch up'.
I was born in Waxahachie (closest big city to Maypearl). I'm the third of four children. My father was a farmer/rancher and my mother was a keypunch operator. I grew up in the small town of Maypearl, Texas. I'm single, have no children, but am a GREAT aunt! I have a dog named Mercury who loves to tree squirrels. I live at Lake Limestone because I love fishing and the water in general. My hobbies are hunting for ancient artifacts, reading, and music.
Out of the classroom I like to read mysteries, go fishing, and watch birds. I also like to hunt for ancient artifacts, like arrowheads and hunting tools.
